More Magnificence in Bristol

Two gigs in one week? If we were top flight, over-paid footballers we might have felt a little "tired" from the excitement of it all, but not our valiant Troupe of Blokes. The lads were on top form with possibly one of our best performances yet (not that we say this every time you understand).

This assertion is supported by some of the comments overheard by other performers and that we now have so much quality audio material that we have had to open a second account on SoundCloud. The actual evidence can be found at http://soundcloud.com/thetrulymagnificentak47/sets/vocal-magic-at-st-christophers-2012/ and we hope you will enjoy it.

If you want to relive the event in full technicolour then one of Chris Samuel's mates has place videos of the evening on his YouTube Channel at http://www.youtube.com/user/mjnebel.

And these very videos have prompted comments from far away South Africa with a quote from Chris A "I have just shown parts of it to [my friend] including the whole of Shosholoza, and she was blown away. Please tell the guys that they managed to impress a Zulu woman! And when you ululated, I thought I was going to have to scrape her off the floor!!"

We conveniently choose to take the last comment as a complement ...

All we have to do now is get Mraval Jamier reviewed in Georgia. Can anybody help with that?

Stand by for more announcements of new events but keep practicing and see everybody at the next workshop Sunday 22nd April 5-7pm - Workshop with Chris Samuel
