The Magnificent CartoonMeister strikes again

The Magnificent CartoonMeister strikes again, this time in the medium of moving pictures!
He has been beavering away to incorporate the latest master works from our venerable ArtMeister advertising our forthcoming Big Gig at Cirencester's Sundial Theatre this Friday 27th November of a Double Helping of blokes.

Not only is there motion but much emotion with a stirring soundscape that represents what is going to be a truly MONUMENTAL evening.

Tickets still available via https://www.ticketsource.co.uk/date/198165.

The inspired and inspiring video can be found at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zCUXLyr-am0.

The Boys are back in... The Back Room

After several weeks peripatetic wanderings around the village rehearsing in a tipi and school hall because our regular haunt had been taken over for watching the Rugby World Cup. we are back in the Back Room of The White Hart to press on with new and old material in preparation of a very Monumental event coming up soon.

And to mark this fact our resident CartoonMeister has lept into creative action to unleash his inner dark side, as you can see above.

Hopefully blokes can now safely stop practicing in the woods and enjoy a cup of tea or something stronger in doors with the other blokes.  As long as they are doing some form of practicing...

From Cat herding to Reindeer herding - A Magnificent Tour awaits

Manoeuvering the lumbering mass of man-ness that is The Magnificent AK47 when out and about around the countryside can be quite a logistical challenge.   30+ blokes muttering about not singing enough / having to sing too much, being hungry / being overfed often within the same breath and occasionally from the same bemused bloke.  It can be quite a challenge for the harangued so-called (semi) organizers.

But maybe no more...  our inspiring CartoonMeister has recently come up with a suggestion of controlling the gang through the medium of song which combines with the opportunity to sneak in some practice.  Genius!

And this technique is likely to be called upon as the blokes embark on their first long weekend outing on a Mini-Tour to Cornwall this coming April - more info soon.

Unleashing the inner comic strip creator

Little did we realise when someone pushed up his hand at last year's Pow Wow to volunteer him to help with some PR work that we would be unleashing such a talent, but here it is, yet more evidence of the inner bushel covered skills of young Graham C.

Beneath that mild mannered exterior lies a seething cauldron of unrequited artistic frustration just waiting to be released through the medium of song and doing slightly daft things associated with the group and all in the name of being Magnificent.

Remember Roy of the Rovers and those photo stories in your sister's Jackie magazine?  Well they are nothing compared to the Magnificent Adventures of "Bewildered of Ashton and his friends".

So here it is in all its glory, the very first episode of The Magnificent AK47 cartoon strip.  And hopefully the first of many.

See the blokes in action this Saturday in Malmesbury but you won't if you don't already have your ticket, it's another sell out gig - don't say we didn't warn you!
