Don't be misled by the banner in this photo encouraging you to "Eat Britain", we are not about to do that (!) but we are about to go and visit the SS Great Britain for a Grand Day Out round the world famous docks of the great city of Bristol.

One of our number loiters around this world famous landmark of our industrial heritage on the grounds that he works there and after a bit of pubtalk an idea came together that it might be a wizard wheeze to go visit, learn a bit, soak up a bit of our history, and sing in some unusual places.

So this very Saturday 9th April we venture out of our land-locked sheds towards the maritime capital of the South West that is Bristol, more specifically the dockside area and the SS Great Britain itself.

We have a very rough schedule as follows:
  1. From 12:00 - Assemble at the SS Great Britain Cafe
  2. At precisely 13:00 - Go into the SS Great Britain for a guided tour and singing in various places
  3. Roundabout 15:00 - Exit and meet up with other miscreants at the Nova Scotia and see what happens from there
You can either join in the experience or warn others to avoid the area - we hope it is the former.
